Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush

The Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush removes that step. Press the button on the handle and the pins retract, lifting the collected fur clear of the head in one pass so you can drop it in the trash and keep going.

How to use it

1. Work in short strokes, following the direction the coat grows.
2. Let the weight of the brush do the work. Press lightly — slicker pins are fine and closely spaced, and pushing hard is what makes brushing uncomfortable.
3. When the head fills, hold it over a trash can and press the button. The pins retract and the fur lifts away.
4. Release the button and carry on.

Care

Clear the head with the button after each session and wipe the pad with a dry cloth. Check the pins from time to time and stop using the brush if any are bent or missing.
